Yesterday this girl from church told me that she had a co-worker whose dog died. She didn't know what to do with a dead dog in Manhattan, because it is really expensive to bury it. She asked around and finally decided that the cheapest option would be to cremate the dog. She put the dead dog in a duffle bag and took it to the train. It was really heavy and as she was getting on the train she was starting to struggle with it, so a man came over and helped her with it.
She put the bag on the floor and the man asked her what was in it. She didn't want to admit that it was a dead dog, so she told him that she was moving and had wanted to carry some valuable things to her new house, because she didn't trust the movers with them. After a few minutes, the train came to a stop. The man stole the bag, not realizing that it actually contained a dead dog, and ran away from the train.
Ok, I'm pretty sure that this is an urban legend, but it was funny.
